Georgetown Chiropractic Care for Spine-Related Testicular Pain

August 25, 2020

Testicular pain. It’s not typically an easy conversation for men. Testicular pain may be a symptom of an assortment of issues, but when testicular pain is spine-related, disc herniation-related, Dr. Butwell is here to help. Dr. Butwell offers spinal manipulation treatment for spine-related testicular pain.

SPINE RELATED/DISC RELATED TESTICULAR PAIN AND CHIROPRACTIC CARE RESOLUTION

Testicular pain may result from a number of factors. In one 60-year-old male patient who experienced low back pain for 3 years and unexplained right testicular for 2 years, chiropractic treatment delivered him relief. He had pursued medical care for his testicular pain which had distressed his social, physical and sexual functions. An MRI exposed disc protrusions at L1/L2, L3/L4, and L4/5. His medical diagnosis was “chronic testicular pain” complicating lumbar disc disease since there was no clear reason for it.  After trying different medical therapy trials, he turned to a chiropractor for his back and testicular pain. Both got better after 2 months of chiropractic care.  (1) Dr. Butwell has also seen great results like this!

THE Georgetown CHIROPRACTIC EXAM

Dr. Butwell encourages our Georgetown male patients to be honest and direct about their symptoms. No symptom is minor. Dr. Butwell has had male patients who didn’t mention their testicular pain until after it was gone! Dr. Butwell is happy with them and would like to have known in advance of treatment as the exisitence of testicular pain alerts your Georgetown chiropractor to think about the pudendal nerve involvement among other issues. The excitement of our male patients when they find relief is amazing!

COX TECHNIC CHIROPRACTIC CARE OF SPINE-RELATED TESTICULAR PAIN

Here is another case. A 36-year-old male with low back pain and right leg pain went to his chiropractor. During the examination, pain in both testicles was found, too. It was pretty bad pain rated 8 out of 10. He reported that he had suffered with that pain as well as the back and leg pain for about 5 years and had consulted multiple medical physicians and had many xrays and MRIs done as well. The treating chiropractor chose to use gentle Cox® Technic chiropractic spinal manipulation to the lumbar spine. In 8 weeks, he underwent 19 treatments. At 4 weeks, the low back pain was decreased, and the leg pain had disappeared. At 3 weeks, the testicular pain had disappeared. Even more remarkable was that the testicular pain was improved after just one treatment. At 3- and 6-month follow-ups, the testicular pain had not come back. (2) Lesson of the story: tell your Georgetown chiropractor about all your pain! There is help.
